Timberwolves & Karl-Anthony Towns after blowout: This wave we drive, it is not good

It has been at least an interesting week for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the drama around the team seems to take its toll at the star center Karl Anthony-Towns.
On Friday – the day that All-Star Jimmy Butler had given the team a random deadline to deal with him – Butler still went with Minnesota. He did not play in the pre-season finals on Friday night. But the drama surrounding Butler continues to influence other players.
After a loss of 143-121 for the Milwaukee Bucks Towns could not hide his frustration.
"We do not have time to be here and say," Well, it's OK, it's the preseason "," Towns told reporters on the spot.
"This momentum that we are now driving, this wave that we drive, it is not good, it is not good at all."
When Towns was asked why the team, which ended in the preseason 1-4, struggled with putting together complete games, he replied: "I really do not know, but if you discover it, let me know."
He added that in the NBA all teams are talented enough to where: "You are defeated … But you can not be ashamed, that is simply unacceptable."
The loss comes only a few days after the Butler saga grew in intensity.
Butler – who is already looking for a trade with the Timberwolves after a year – became the center of attention during his first training of the season on Wednesday.
In that practice, Butler exchanged words with cities per ESPN (in addition to many other things).
Cities, the 22-year-old who scored the Timberwolves in 2015, and Butler are not exactly face to face with Butler's rocky position with the team.
Butler came to trade the Timberwolves last out of season in a pull-out night in exchange for Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine and design Lauri Markkanen. Despite being short for some time due to injury, Butler had reunited a strong year with his former coach with the Chicago Bulls, Tom Thibodeau, and he helped the Timberwolves return for the first time since 2004 to the postseason.
Cities, for their part, are not going anywhere; he just agreed to a super-max extension with Minnesota last month.
The regular season of the NBA starts Tuesday evening.
